It is in London that Ada Yu has obtained her profession as an artist. Originally from Kazakhstan, she lives and works in Paris. During professional pathway her works were exhibited in numerous art fairs and cities around Europe.

Ada Yu uses staging as a mean to developpe a pluridiciplinary practice on the verge of analog photography, installation, performance and cinema.
Her artwork is an intimate and introspective questioning of psychologycal sourses of a human being. Dreams, imagination, perceptions and impulses are recurrent subjects in works of Ada Yu. Unlike other artists from Central Asia that abord identity questions from cultural and political aspects, she explores subjective dimention of identity construction, borderline between imaginative and rational, tentions and contrarities of mental universes.
